My profession took place in tackling the recovery of the volumes and the various existing sites in the territories in Tuscany, not only through their accurate historical research, but also directly addressing the renovation work, studying in detail the individual objects, reproducing elements original architectural features both inside and outside, preserving, as far as it is right, the original distribution, but also making the whole implementation according to the various needs. In the last twenty years I have faced the various recoveries introducing livability systems: adapting floors, walls, roofs and windows to systems of protection from the cold and ventilation for the heat. The work done at the University, in the design laboratories as an assistant, allowed me to gain experience with young professionals and I therefore learned to dialogue with the institutions, the bureaucracies and the masses. What has been important and gratifying in all the activities carried out to date has been able to express itself and have the possibility to realize, after researches and comparisons, both in the public and in the private sector. This is only a synthesis in order to have a dialogue with you interlocutors and to understand if we have something to “give us”, which can serve all citizens. An opening to a meeting. The works are published both in architecture magazines and in textbooks on “The sites in the Tuscan countryside”, in particular in the municipalities of Florence, Fiesole, Scandicci, Pontassieve, Bagno a Ripoli.
